I purchased this towel for my baby and was extremely disappointed. Despite being advertised as "ultra soft," it was rough and scratchy on their skin. The hood also didn't stay in place very well. The only positive is that it did absorb water fairly well. Save your money and find a better option.

This towel is much more than just a towel. First, it's the softest. It looks more like a thin, weighted blanket than a towel. It absorbs water well and is very durable. I got this for my 4 year old who has outgrown his baby hooded towels. This reaches the ground and keeps it warm. I want this towel for myself because it's so soft and I love the material.

Very soft but not for babies/toddlers and older as described. The design is pleasant, the seams look reliable. We tried replacing our favorite elephant towel (same design but different brand) and assumed the size would be the same. This towel is huge and can definitely be used for younger kids. He's still a bit big for our 5 year old but we kept him to 'grow up' and hope he still loves elephants.
