Described as falling above the calf, they are so long that they actually fall above the knees. I'm 6 feet and they are very long. I will try to carry them folded but it doesn't look quite how I imagined and they are too thick to fold over my fingers. However, I will leave it at that.

Comfortable socks. It's rare to find socks that size 14 feet. However, they are not durable. After first wearing for 2 hours (in hiking boots) both socks had holes in the ankle and calf. I'm sure this could be causing the holes to appear. I wore them with sneakers to protect against poison oak.

Overall these are good socks. However, it is too narrow! It's very difficult for my son to put it on his leg - he's 11 years old and he couldn't do it himself because it's so tight. It's like a compression stocking. Luckily, he says he feels good when it's on; it won't hurt him or anything. But the pain of putting it on your leg/leg every practice or game gets really old. I should start with a disclaimer. I'm 1.80 m tall and wear size 14 shoes. So I need very large socks and, like real ones, over the shins that don't touch. These do just that! I'm 6ft 2", 19.5" and wear a size 13 Adidas flip flops. This is a comfortable fit. The healing on this sock goes most of the way down my foot and it's imperceptible. The sock comes down to my knees; I prefer not to fold them, but I can let them fall to mid-calf if I really want to. They're thinner/lighter than the Nike Classic IIs I usually buy, but also half the price, so a decent price. I don't know how long they will last, so I can't rate durability.
