Ideal for planetary aquariums

I have an aquarium with plants. I find when I add fertilizer this system sucks it into the watery soil and nourishes the plants by the roots. Slow is better to give the plant time to eat up the fertilizer.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

Instructions in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Works well. There are no instructions in English. Pipes without holes are risers (vertical). Start with the white tee, insert the riser into a hole, then insert a male end into the tee and a female end into the tee using a tube with holes. The rest should fit easily.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Has problems

I like gravel packs. The water in the tank stays clean.

I love that you can build it to fit your tank. I bought 2 as I have a 125 gallon aquarium. There are 2 powerheads (375 gph each) and 2 Penn-Cry Cascade 300's hanging on filters. The aquarium is crystal clear compared to the external filter I use.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not the best

Do not waste money

waste of money. Installed a tank with water, gravel, decor. I had to remove the suction pump to clear some gravel. He gave the tube a little tug, causing the other tubes to twist. Try to push it back down and the rest of the pipes will pop out of the gravel. Clean junk rune for my entire tank. Spend your money and buy a real underground system.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • there are nuances

A good product. Would buy again.

So I bought this because I couldn't find an in-ground filter that would fit my 30 gallon height. So far this has worked great! I have a few Bettas in my aquarium (they don't like strong currents) and this has kept the suction flow to a minimum. I've never had a problem with clogging, but I wouldn't recommend it for tanks where you want to use something finer than gravel as the substrate. It can be used with different filters. **A small installation note, since the pipes are movable it's good to
