Easter fun goes well with crafts

I bought these for my daughter to color in for Easter (in addition to real eggs). They took the color well and we will use them as decoration next year. They are great for a craft project.

  • This is great
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good Egg on Raw Wood

Used for coloring eggs with permanent markers. Delivered quickly, my husband really thought they were real and wondered why I left them on the counter. My son's problem of not being able to gift dyed eggs has been completely resolved.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons

Fun for Easter

Since we were stuck, I was looking for something fun for the whole family for Easter. I bought these wooden eggs to decorate. They are about the size of a real egg. They are nice and smooth, making them easy to decorate. We will use paint, markers and glitter glue. There are a dozen of them, so everyone can decorate a few. It will leave great memories and we can release them every year.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fun Craft Painting Project

These wooden eggs are the size and shape of large US chicken eggs. They are made from solid wood and although sanded smooth they contain no visible finishing which is good as the buyer can paint or finish them however they wish without having to sand down the unwanted finish of anything. The printed eggs absorb the artist's acrylic paint. I successfully sealed them with white waterproof topcoat and then painted over them from light to dark.

Pros
  • Nice to use

Great for wood carving

Bought for wood carving. Surprised by the good quality for the price. It looks like birch or similar medium-hard white hardwood with closed grains. All eggs have straight grain and regular shape, fairly smooth, with no cracks or knots. The width of the annual rings varies greatly from egg to egg. I prefer narrow growth rings for aesthetic reasons, and about half the eggs are narrow, but I'll use them all. I started carving one of these and a sharp carving knife can easily make even cuts in this

Pros
  • Freehand work
Cons
  • Very expensive
