🧺 Blue Unger Microfiber Wool Duster - Improved SEO-friendly Product Name Review

Used this cloth for about 2 weeks, after that the feathers started to fall out. These used to be better. I managed to salvage about 10 feathers and reglued them with hot glue. The only saving grace with this rag is that the handle can be screwed onto a broom handle for extension.

When this product arrived and I opened the packaging, the first thing that struck me was the horrible chemical smell. I washed the duster in warm water with detergent and rinsed thoroughly. The soapy water had turned an alarming brown color. It's not a big duster so it was very dirty. I wonder how many people wiped their houses down with a dirty rag thinking it was new and clean. Plus it still smells. I'm not sure I can keep it at home. I will never buy this product again.

I ordered this rag to replace the same model I've been using for about 3 years. Feathers begin to deteriorate after a few years of use. The handle no longer has a hanging loop as shown in the picture. There are about 1/3 fewer feathers in the new anther than in the old one. This is no longer an "industrial" rag - more of a household rag. I'd also like to mention that Ace Hardware shipped the rag in a $1.50 padded envelope but charged $7.00 for fake handling fees. Unger ostrich feathers collect and hold dust for about 4 to 6 items, then you need to go outside to shake off the dust and keep dusting. It really does a long job. fast. And it is fun!
