Uniden BT-446 Ni-MH Rechargeable Cordless Phone Battery, 3.6V 800mAh, Genuine Uniden, BYD Manufactured Review

Too early for a full review, but so far so good. The price is quite low, so my bar is not very high. It's been a few months since my last review (my two sentences above). Nothing has changed to improve or lower my previous four star rating.

The OEM battery was 1.96 inch (50mm) and lasted 10 years. 4 years ago I bought an "OEM replacement" that was only 1 5/8" (44mm). The same 800mAh but only lasted 4 years. This battery is also ONLY 1 5/8" " (44mm) so you can see how long it will last. The plug is fine, it works well, only the battery is smaller. I would not buy this battery again, would return but don't want to waste my time.

I've bought several replacement batteries for my Uniden phones and have always been disappointed with the results - until now. Cheaper versions of this battery are fake and have a fraction of the battery life of the original version.
