Uniden SSS00265R Radar Detector Mount Bracket - Single Suction Cup - Compatible with R1, R3, R7, DFR9 Review

The suction cup included with this detector is too small. It's a waste. But this one I ordered works fine. Haven't fallen off the windshield yet. The AZ heat is coming, so let's see if it stays later. But my car is still in the garage. I would recommend it.

Overall a good product but not perfect. I bought it for a Uniden radar detector which in turn was for my Porsche GT3. I don't mention the latter out of vanity, but to warn Porsche 911 owners: the angular limits of this mount are insufficient to accommodate the steep pitch of the Porsche 911's windshield nose (i.e. face slightly above the horizon). I have the impression that this does not affect the sensitivity of the detector in any way, but it looks strange. So I modified mine. I disassembled…
