Uning Detachable Keychains: Your Ultimate Accessory for Convenient Key Management Review

I bought these for a project so I am not using them for their intended purpose. I fish a lot at night. One half is attached to the bottom of the pole. The other is attached to a long cord and the other end is attached to a landscape spike. I snap them together to keep the rod from falling into the river lake, but when I grab the rod I can quickly release it. So far it has saved my rod once. Since I buy good gear (around 200.00 or more for a good rod/reel combo) I can say that it has paid off.

I understand from other posts that one or more of these 'might' not last long. I bought the set in black and all I can say is that they appear to be well built and easy to take apart by pushing the plunger but difficult or impossible without pushing it.

Some initial concerns about the security of the attachment turned out to be unfounded. These stick together well. I had to drill holes to fit the large keyring, 1/64" from 1/8" to 9/64" but without significantly losing the integrity of the keychain. I would have them again in a heartbeat.. Highly recommended.

Not very strong. Three of them won't even stay together if I take them apart. I wouldn't buy again, but don't expect much for the price. After the company verified my review, they promptly refunded my money for my issue and forwarded it to the manufacturer to fix the issue. That's excellent customer service. Even though my order had issues with the manufacturer, I still give them 5 stars for taking care of me. Excellent work!
