Brush for removing rust and oxidation from galvanized steel in preparation for priming and painting. After a few hours the bristles started falling off. Ordered a second brush to complete the project. It's hard to believe that this is an industrial strain.

This brush is tough. I've used it to clean concrete before plastering it. It does a job that would take ten times as long with a manual wire brush. The brush is strong and durable and provides excellent cleaning for many hours. NOTE: The image on Amazon is a bit confusing as it shows three brushes that appear to be different; The one I received was similar to the one in the top right corner, with lots of stranded wires, and was of medium length.

The quality of the product is excellent and the surface of the wavy bristles picks up material really well. I think 4" is too big and heavy for a 41/2" grinder. Due to the high speed and imbalance of the wire wheel, the vibration of the grinder made it difficult to use over a longer period of time.
