United RT18 Rotary Trimmer Capacity Review

I'm sure this would be a great cutter but it had a few broken plastic parts which affected product safety. That is the reason for two stars instead of one. The three boxes it was packaged in were not intact, meaning the cutter was broken at the factory. It was very noticeable, so the person at the factory wrapped it that way, and didn't pull it off the assembly line.

Works with normal printer paper as well as with 1-3 sheets of cardboard. Doesn't cut up to 15 sheets like the description says. Comparable to what we had before. It works, but not with the performance we were hoping for in our office space. The guide of the paper cutter is also slightly offset. I'm not sure if we can adjust this, but I couldn't find a way to align this part along the blade/edge.

My first use of the RT18 was to cut 288 (8.5 x 11) sheets of paper both vertically and horizontally to make 4.25 x 5 booklets .5 to produce. The cuts were precise, the paper guard held the paper in place perfectly, and the blade was smooth. The job was done quickly and I didn't have as much frustration as with other well-known editors. I've also used it to cut photo paper with the same great results.
