Arrived as expected

This is about as good a filter as you would expect from K&N. I bought this filter to replace my last one which had some physical damage during repairs. This has lasted a good 3 years in tough conditions, I expect this one to last longer as I will try not to damage it.

Damaged packaging, labels missing

Two stars so far. The filter came with the plastic slightly torn and the sticker was missing, leading me to believe it was a returned product that had not been used but had been previously opened. The only thing that can save this product is its good performance.

Hyundai Tiburon on Filter

Had code for MAF sensors and 02. This fixed both issues. I have an air intake after the sale. After turning it on, I got the light on when it was raining. Since the air intake goes to the bumper (the car is low to the ground), it's a bit rusty on my MAF. I also bought a sock to fit over the new K&N filter I bought. Perfect. My Tiburon 03 works like new.

, that's K and N. If you look at these odds you've heard of their reputation for performance and excellent filtration. It lives up to its name and we've noticed a significant reduction in turbo lag. Great brand with great products. Make sure you do not clean the filter before the recommended intervals.

Eh Not worth $40. Choose the cheaper K&N Air Filter

Before I bought this I had a third party air filter that came with my replacement cold air intake for my car. After I bought this and tested it on my car for a while, my car's engine felt like it was panting and couldn't pull out enough air to get as much power as I wanted. As soon as I went back to my first air cleaner I could immediately feel the difference in throttle response and the sound was noticeably better. So I guess you shouldn't waste your money on this, not a cheaper equivalent…
