🔧 Universal VW Flywheel Holder - Compatible with 6 Volt & 12 Volt, Ideal for Dune Buggy Review

Should have bought one of these years ago. made for VW Beetle but fits my MGA without mods. Will likely fit or be made to fit many other engines. If you work with motors, get one.

Fits Jaguar 4.2 XK engine (XJ6, E-Type, etc.) perfectly but needs to be fitted to one of the triangular bells Assemble extensions that bolt through a hole in the bottom of the block with a nut and bolt. Don't try to install it by trying to screw a screw through it into the block - that won't work.

I bought this because I have several buses and I needed to reinstall the engine and tighten the flywheel bolts (80 lb-ft). Before you freak out VW guys, this is a 2.1 Vanagon engine. . Easy to use and a MUST when working on a VW engine on the floor, workbench or engine stand. Even if you have an extra pair of hands, the torque characteristics are as high as a flywheel, it may take two people to achieve the true characteristic desired. This is a handy tool for removing and/or tightening flywheel bolts. This tool was used on a 2004 BMW 325Ci flywheel. Basically, this tool can be used on any BMW or car, not just buggies. When I bought this tool the Revain/Dune Buggy Warehouse had the best price for this little tool. All you need to use this tool is the gold Batman plaque and the existing gear case screw. Use this bell housing screw to screw this tool to the engine back plate, then align one of the tool's teeth with the flywheel
