Easy to use and a MUST when working on a VW engine on the floor, workbench or engine stand. Even if you have an extra pair of hands, the torque characteristics are as high as a flywheel, it may take two people to achieve the true characteristic desired. One feature I haven't used but the way the tool is made is there are two different sets of teeth that allow it to be used on both popular sizes of VW flywheels. I suppose there are other ways to hold the flywheel using custom tools, crowbars, clamps, etc. This one is too easy and a great addition to any toolbox.
