The wood for this knob seems to be of decent quality and looks good but the screw was off center and not at right angles to the ground. Because of this I stopped using the screw which made my project much more difficult.

I just updated the screen that hides my trash cans. There are three posts on the screen that had the same headers, but only one remained. The stems are 3 1/2" and I've made a lot of purchases and the closest I could find were these 3" caps. They are smaller than the previous ones but look great on poles.

When ordering a piece of wood it is reasonable to expect minor finishing touches but the quality of the wood in the pommel that I received was terrible. Knots, holes several centimeters deep and a tear on one side. As mentioned in another review, the grub screw was not straight or centered on mine either. Of course there is no quality control. The photos speak for themselves.
