This keystone jack holder is perfect for anyone terminating Ethernet cables. It ensures that the keystone connector/jack does not move, and more importantly aids the user in preventing injury. An example of this is terminating a keystone connector on a desk where it can slip and slide, or can cause discomfort in the palm when holding the keystone connector in the hand and terminating. Supports every make and style of keystone connector I have encountered so far.

Pros
  • It’s the small things that make life easy!!!
Cons
  • The tool may not provide consistent results if the wiring is not properly organized within the jack

Serves its purpose for my opinion

This item serves the intended purpose and because it is a seat to cause a steady product assembly, its an invaluable tool!

Pros
  • Works great! Makes it easy to hold when using the punch down tool.
Cons
  • The punch down tool may not be able to handle high-frequency signals

Sturdy holder. Nice addition to the tool bag.

A handy tool for the bag. This makes working in narrow space easier. It makes a great base to hold the connector while punching.

Pros
  • The tool works as intended.
Cons
  • i was looking for a Panduit holder this one didn't quite do it

Works good - my new review

A little snug putting connectors in it but otherwise it does what it is supposed to do. I have used it several times so far and will use it for the rest of the house cable work.

Pros
  • this will help make the best connections
Cons
  • The tool may not be practical for work on a large scale, such as in a data center or office building

This review is for the iMBAPrice® Universal Cat6/Cat5e/RJ11/12 Keystone Jack Punch Down Stand. I am missing a some fingers on my hand, so holding jacks while punching in the wires and finishing terminations is hard for me to hold all the parts together as I do it. I got this and it's great. Makes the job much easier for me and will speed up the process for anyone else. Very sturdy construction, good quality. It does not flex under pressure like some cheap stuff might. It does exactly what it…

Pros
  • I love it thank you so much
Cons
  • If the tool gets damaged or breaks, it may be difficult to find replacement parts or get it repaired

Works good: my feedback

Works great. But would have given 5 stars if the unit had some type of felt pad or non-slip mat under the unit. That's my review!

Pros
  • Solid nerd gear.
Cons
  • Some users may find the punch down tool to be too expensive compared to other models on the market

Finally! Something that works!

Great tool, works well.I need this tool for my every day job, save time and labor.does the job - good qualityWill recommend!

Pros
  • fits good on my knee and in general. if you don't have one you should!
Cons
  • The punch down tool may require additional force to punch down connections, potentially damaging the jack or cable

An indispensable tool.

I hesitated to buy this product but once I began to use it, I REALLY understood it's importance. First, it holds those Keystone inserts steady while you attach the wires. Second, and most important, it protects your hands and/or furniture from that tiny razor sharp wire cutter on the punch down tool and finally, it's much easier to grip this device than that Keystone insert. Also, your thumb can hold the orientation of the wire more securely while you attach it to the Keystone insert. Bottom…

Pros
  • nice steady tool to connect jacks
Cons
  • The tool may require additional accessories or adapters to work with certain network installations

Better than nothing.

It does what it is supposed to. Better than holding your keystones by hand or against the rack. Better than nothing, but certainly not great.

Pros
  • good tool
Cons
  • The tool may not work properly with certain types of jacks, especially if they are not of the standard size

Easy to use and inexpensive to pickup

Tool is great when you don’t have a good surface to punch down on. Had a punch down a short cat5 cable on fresh sheetrock, the tool lets you hold the connector and cable so that you don’t punch down into your figures. No instruction sheet but you’ll figure it out quick. Tool is inexpensive and nice to have, shipped fast and undamaged. I’d recommend it.

Pros
  • Nice device to help you punch down connectors about the size of your palm.
Cons
  • The tool may not be able to handle large volumes of punch down work, leading to slower installation times

It probably works well with the keystone jacks. I deal mostly with commscope jacks.I would say the device feels good in my hands and I was able to punch a commscope jack in the C position easily without it twisting in my hand which happens more than once and damaging the green or brown setting. So,Make an adapter for the commscope to work on your keystone device and you will please many people.thank you.

Pros
  • Product works great.
Cons
  • The punch down tool may bend or damage delicate wires if not handled carefully
