I hesitated to buy this product but once I began to use it, I REALLY understood it's importance. First, it holds those Keystone inserts steady while you attach the wires. Second, and most important, it protects your hands and/or furniture from that tiny razor sharp wire cutter on the punch down tool and finally, it's much easier to grip this device than that Keystone insert. Also, your thumb can hold the orientation of the wire more securely while you attach it to the Keystone insert. Bottom line, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are doing network wiring.
