Will NOT work with 6.5 speakers. I have used them with Clarion Marine 6.5 speakers but I had to heavily modify the brackets with a Dremel tool and cut out the internals.

Sounds like a plumber's dream from the description. In fact, even a 6" speaker is too wide for the ring, depending on the brand. The ring is also of poor quality. Better to use styrofoam sealant to seal and cost than this.

perfect for my RV When I installed the new BOSS AUDIO MR50W Marine 5.25" 2-way 150 watts, I couldn't install the new speakers without an adapter. Holes were a bit out of order though i could still use them the new speakers are deeper and i swapped them out in about 10 minutes good product.

If you want a 5.25" spacer that allows you to use a standard door speaker hole, this isn't it. This is a solid product and in another application they will work just fine. But they're also wide enough to replace the stock 5.25-inch door speaker. This only works if you cut a hole in the inner skin of the door.

That saved the project! Ordering 5.25 Alpine Type R speakers for the doors of my 2004 Honda Civic. Without these spacers, the speaker would not have enough depth to install. Received them quickly and after a few screws I had clean clear tunes coming out of the new speakers. Great product that matches what I found a great seller.

Mislabelled but great product. The ideal enclosure diameter for your speaker is 150mm or 5.9 inches. There is an "outer" edge, but my calipers don't go that far; I would venture a guess that 6 inches on the nose. Bolt diameter approx. 140 mm. This spacer fits the 6" Dayton RS150P perfectly, allowing the driver to protrude 1.64" into the door. It also has corner cutouts for 4-hole drivers. Should be marked "1" spacer for 6" speakers.

I used them to make room for the 5.25 speakers on the side of the Toy Hauler. The stock speakers are junk, but in most cases not suitable for the aftermarket due to the depth. They fit perfectly for my application. Make sure you use camper putty between the trailer and the spacer and the speaker and the gasket down to the silicone.
