Trash! This is the second device I own. The first broke after 4 months and the second replacement is already rattling (in 2 weeks) and will probably break soon. Don't make the same mistake I did and spend more money on a quality remote control.

First of all, the TV is 11 years old. We entered the model number and a remote replacement immediately came up. We ordered it yesterday. It came today. I chose AAA batteries. Hit the power button and guess what? You guessed it, it worked.

Your product is not an original Samsung product. It is a fake. It is not compatible as they said. If you don't see the Samsung name on the remote, it doesn't work. You received the wrong return and will not return the item. Bad customer service

The only thing I don't like about the Samsung remote (not necessarily this replacement) is that I *had* to order a replacement. Apparently, it's not uncommon for these remotes to suddenly stop working. It's been a few months since the replacement came and it works perfectly.

This product ONLY LOOKS like the original remote control. It does NOT work in the same way, and even worse, its buttons don't work reliably or do the job they are intended to do. Example: Pressing a channel select button may or may not actually select a channel. Once the channel list is shown, pressing "Enter" to select it actually changes the VOLUME instead of changing the channel. Some buttons don't work at all. i give it back
