Description of Uniweld UNF3 Nitrogen Indicator Connection

Nitrogen Flow Indicator, 1/4 Inch Female Flare Inlet Connection, 1/4 Inch Male Flare Outlet Connection. Provides extremely low pressure (3 to 4 CFH) precision gas flow control for nitrogen purging applications. Nitrogen Flow Indicator uses a float ball to visually confirm the nitrogen is flowing during the brazing of copper tubing in HVACR systems. Maximum Inlet Pressure 50 PSI. Over Pressure Safety Relief Rupture Disk.

does what it's supposed to! Beginners, if you get a nitrogen tank, please remember to pair it with the nitro regulator of your choice. This saves you a lot of nitrogen for longer-term stock management. THIS TOOL IS A MUST!

Very well made flow indicator

This is a very good flow indicator, very accurate and easy to install and adjust to different flow settings. I use this flow meter to flush HVAC copper lines when doing silver soldering. I would also recommend this device for other similar applications.

Great device for saving nitrogen when soldering

Great device for saving nitrogen when soldering. Of course, the bead doesn't appear on the dial at 3 feet per hour, but you can still read it. I've saved enough nitrogen to pay for it already. A must have for anyone soldering copper for HVAC.

Very useful inert gas meter

I wish it had a better inert gas calibration but it does the job. The metal body feels solid, but the plastic body of the flow indicator feels cheaply made. Overall for the price paid this is a very good Uniweld variable flow meter but could use some minor design changes to make it stand out.

Guarantees flow with a visual indicator, takes the guesswork out of knowing you have a flush and limits waste.

Working as described with rising gas prices and the need for nitrogen brazing as this side will not disappear anytime soon, this device keeps you informed with no gas waste and with its indicator ball floating in the gas stream during use, no more guessing if it really cleans your lines.
