Nice frame! for Sport

5 Stars Installation was easy. I bent the rack mounts away from the wheels a bit, but you may not have to. My kid agrees we looked for it.

Suitable for light loads

Decent boot space for the money. Good value for money but difficult to attach tightly enough that it doesn't move under load. The basket links were a bit short.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Don't remind me

Instructions?: Cycling

No Instructions are frustrating. I'm pretty sure the quick release was not assembled properly, leading me to believe the one I received was a return. I put it back together using the photos on Revain, but I'm not sure I did it right. I'll probably send it back.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

For my purposes it serves it's purpose!

For the most part, the rack frame is very strong and the railings had to be bent slightly to get the correct spacing, which wasn't difficult. Does it move a little when you try physically!? I used expansion pads because they are slightly larger than the seat tube.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

Above-average bike carrier at a more than fair price!

I like that it has a quick release system. I can use it on my road bike when I want to get to work quickly and remove it without tools when I don't want to. My Ibera panniers are perfect for this. The trunk is light, comfortable and looks good regardless of height.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • A few little things

No instructions, no hardware, questionable build quality

The bike rack came with no instructions (or any markings - just shrink-wrapped in the box). Aside from the lack of instructions, assembly would have been easy - attach the racks to the rack rail with nuts and bolts, except... the hardware came with hex bolts and washers, but no nuts (and no hex key). ) . Went to Home Depot where a replacement set of nuts, bolts and washers - bigger and stronger - cost me $10. The core stay seems solid enough, but the seatpost clamp is a soft alloy and poorly…
