Everything works as expected for this headset. The only thing that I don't like is how it fits into the controller 3.5 mm audio jack. It doesn't snap that well into it. I haven't had an issue where it falls out, but you can tell it's a little cheaper made than the original jack.

Works well if you ONLY need a cable. It is not recognized by the steel series software so you’ll be out of luck if you need to equalize or use steel series software To change tour settings.

The wire got all static when talking after about 1 and a half months, I also had wire protectors on the to prevent the from cracking or breaking at the ends.

Ended up searching for this cable because SteelSeries never seems to have them in stock, and when you have a pair of headphones that uses a proprietary cable, thats a problem. Luckily, this cable works perfectly with my Arctis 3 headphones, and is actually cheaper than the SteelSeries ones, so I will get these again if I ever need another cable again. Only complaint I could say about this cable is that its a bit short. Other than that, you wouldn't see any difference. Thanks NewFantasia!

Works great when it works. First cable broke after 2 weeks, though. Just stopped working on a random notice. Always stored the headset and cable well, too. We'll see if it was just an outlier situation.

The day I opened my Series 5 and saw the 3.5mm adapter I knew that was going to get lost. Cut to 4 months later. I am the next Nostradamus. Thankfully this item came to save the day. Works as expected at a reasonable price. Only a few months in to owning and I have no complaints. It is a bit flimsy but it gets the job done.
