Just received and installed these so I can't speak to the heat retention/distribution yet, but for those of you who worried about the fit on a Weber Spirit Grill (the one with controls on the side) I can confirm that they dropped right into place and fit very comfortably on the grill.

Unlike most, these grates fit my 2001 Gold perfectly, most are too short, front to back, so they move around while you clean them.

Looked and worked great at first. But after a year my grate is covered with rust, even though I've treated it well, seasoned with oil. The seller's description says "not easy to rust" but I live in the desert, and the grate never touches water. It's not quality stainless steel—if it were, it would not rust.

It was the cheapest option I found but it did not disappoint. Really solid heavy grates that season well. Thanks for attention!

These grates are a great value and are made quite well. 7mm bars are very good quality and the spacing is tight enough to satisfy most users. There are some such as Qlimetal that are finished better on the edges of the rods, but these look fine and will be an excellent upgrade from old rusted grates.

Grill grates were 7yrs old and needing a replacement. Theses grates look just like the Weber's and fit perfectly in the grill. I myself season them and spray light oil on every use to keep them clean. After using it takes maybe 10-15 minutes to clean and put grill away. Highly recommend if you're looking the same quality grates for a better price.

While not exactly inexpensive, these grates were a good purchase. The stainless steel rod stock used is substantial and should work great. The OEM grates measured at 17.25", but the actual distance across the front and back of the Genesis Silver grill interior is 17.5" so this set fits even better than OEM, with minimal movement.

These are not coated cast iron, which is key for a good grilled steak. The porcelain coating prevents the iron from touching the steak, and inhibits crusting. These work great for my purposes.

I have a Weber Spirit 300 from about 2015 and these grates fit perfectly. They are heavy duty cast iron (so make sure to properly season them before use!) and are a real similar match to the OEM Weber grates at half the price.

Hopefully this stainless steel grill wil not rust like my last grill which rusted badly when the porcelein wore off. Thanks for attention.

fit my circa 2000 Weber Genesis Silver B perfectly, and very heavy duty, no issues during grilling, significant improvement over the stamped gratesupdate May 2020: we grill at least 4-5 times a week pretty much year round, these grates are still working perfectly, no problems with grilling, no rust at all, very happy with them!

Wish you made ones that were 3/8 inch rods! These appear to be good, and fit nicely, but wish they were heavier. Could produce an uneven cooking surface..

Replaced the rusted, warped, dilapidated stamped steel grates of my new to me Genesis 1000 Red top grill.Mine came perfectly square. Great grill marks.

These are working great on my Weber grill. No complaints.Probably imagining things but seems to me the grill is performing better with these than my old worn out original grates.Very happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy and cooks evenly. Ok side is flat and smooth, the other each grate comes to a point. As far as I can tell there is no right or wrong way to use theses. So far I've cooked brats on the flat side and then port steaks one flat and one pointed. The only difference was the grill marks. They are more defined with the pointed side. I did season these grates before I used them. Installed on a Weber Silver Gennisis from 2005 that I just replaced the burners and flavor bars.

Good replacement for original iron grates. Heats evenly and easy to clean. Fits a bit differently than original but works fine.

Bought these stainless steel grates to replace my worn out steel ones. Huge improvement. Much easier to clean and it seems like they conduct heat better for a more even temperature cooking surface.
