Announced limit when standing on the stool is 75 pounds. It could be more as I’m twice that weight and until just now the stool held. I’m lucky I noticed the hinges started coming apart before it buckled under me. These limits should be made more obvious and stated in the headline description of the item.

Bought this so I didn't have to bend over so much in the shower to clean my legs after mountain bike riding (I have a bad back) - perfect height to rest my foot on. I put it in the corner of shower and the feet grip great. Like the little dots on top for grip. I put a zip-tie on each side of the lower hinges to keep it from folding and that works great.Also like that it's not wood, so won't get ugly from water. Had it a month and wish I'd bought it years ago.

This little step stool folds flat and fits between my refrigerator and cabinet. It is so convenient.One word of warning for little kids, our 4 year old granddaughter managed to pinch her fingers when trying to collapse it. A few kisses and a quick tutorial and she is good!

This is perfect for me as I am older and have spine issues. If I have to work on something lower I have had problems getting up from lower stools. This one is perfect and love that it is foldable and carries easily. I am about 275lbs and I feel very secure when I sit on it.

I’m eighty years old and have trouble working on projects near the floor. I can sit on this stool and bend over to do the work and the height makes it easy to stand up when done. Other stools are too low and standing up is difficult. Folds easily had stores out of he way.

I have 3 of the smaller/shorter style foldable steps like this one and love them. Very sturdy and handy! I use this item mostly as a stool that is easy to pickup and move and set up while watching my 2 year old while he's running around in the yard. The top of the stool/step cracked on one side from the center out. You can still sit on it, but not stand on it. Also the hinges become undone and need to be snapped back together every so often from folding/unfolding. I weigh 215 lbs and supposedly

Hubby needed a seat for when he works on his bike or motorcycle out in the garage. Chairs are too high and sitting on the ground isn't always practical or safe. Took me a while to find something tall enough and with a large enough top that would still fold up and store out of the way. This one has been a perfect choice for the purpose.

Bought this to use in our RV. Didn't know how much I needed this till I got it. The Acko Folding Stool is easy to use & takes minimum space to store. I wanted something flexible to sit on to reach/clean low lying areas because I no longer can easily get down on the floor. It easily folds, so I would not recommend trying to stand on it or sit down w/o care. For me, however, it was exactly what I needed.

This step stool seems nice enough for being like $20. It’s got some decent height, and can definitely hold me up. I’m 5’8” and about 160lb. My only trouble is that I feel like I have to put most of my pressure in the middle. I don’t really feel like I could lean to either side without it collapsing. It’s super light, and super portable and storable, so that’s super nice, it just doesn’t seem to be too sturdy. I probably wouldn’t be keeping it if I was over like 190-200lbs.
