We got these to replace the wheels on our lower dishwasher basket that fell apart. If I had known this part was available and how easy it was to purchase and replace, I would have done so a few months ago! The entire set of 4 wheels was so easy to swap out (after looking at how the originals were designed to be mounted on a luggage rack), it took us both less than 10 minutes. So far so good no problems just glad we can use our dishwasher again with no disappointment.

Arrived less than 24 hours after ordering - Amazing time because our bottom shelf was almost unusable. They are not perfect replicas of the original parts, but they fit perfectly. The wheels are about 80% smoother than the originals, but I'll tolerate them as long as they don't break in less than two years of use! The time will show. I don't know why people would pay double the price for a set of wheels, especially when they know it would literally fall apart in no time.

First of all I am disappointed that I had to buy these rollers in the first place after 7 out of 8 rollers came loose from the bottom rack of my dishwasher simply from normal use over the past 3 years. Bad design with the originals as the plastic comes off easily and the wheels fall off. This explains the burning plastic smell we regularly get! [UPDATED 06/11/2019] Attached is a photo of the rusty part. I've finally replaced this poorly designed piece with something that will never rust. Save your money and don't buy this! UPDATED 9/8/19: Rating downgraded from 4 to 1 star. These wheels have now been assembled for about five months and the bolts are so rusted that the wheels no longer spin freely. I've supposedly bought "upgraded" wheel assemblies with newer stainless steel bolts, but the ones we received aren't dishwasher safe. While these wheels don't work as intended, I believe Kitchen Aid is to blame for this mess. If they didn't build such inferior cars, we wouldn't need to buy these poorly made wheelsets…
