Very important! for notebook accessories

This little gadget does what it promises, and does it well! Easily transforms my Surface Pro into a full desktop with dual monitors and a mouse.

Works great but doesn't fit well.

In principle, this gadget is excellent. It occupies two ports and gives you four ports. Its design is simple and once connected it actually works as it should. The only problem is that it's difficult to connect to the Surface Pro. The dimensions on the docking station are slightly different, but that's a lot considering the small pins in each of the two ports. Other reviewers couldn't connect their devices at all and had to send them back. Mine connects but it's hard to do.

Will NOT connect to Surface Pro 7

The product itself is fine except I was misinformed that it fits my device. I'm willing to swear that this site added the Surface Pro 7 to their compatibility list before I bought the item about two weeks ago and I asked if it would work with the Surface Pro 7 before I bought it . It only works with earlier models that have USB A and Mini DisplayPort. The Surface Pro 7 replaced the Mini DisplayPort with a USB Type-C port, so I had to return the product. Easily expand your Surface to include 3 USB, HDMI, and SD Micro SD card readers

The Surface is a great computer, except for one major drawback – it only has one USB port. USB hubs, most of which are bulky and don't serve the purpose of Surface's thin and light design. But this device has the same depth as the Surface screen, plugs in easily, and gives you three USB ports, one full-size HDMI port (you don't need another adapter), and an SD card reader right out of the box. The small, lightweight design makes it as portable as your PC. This hub worked great with my USB flash

Works well enough but not with USB Wifi+Bluetooth and not enough power for external drive

I bought this because my Surface Pro 5 1796 survived the "death of Wi-Fi + Bluetooth" two years later . The easiest and cheapest way to overcome this shortcoming was to purchase this USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter 600Mbps 2.4/5GHz External Dual Band Wireless Receiver Mini WiFi Dongle for PC/Laptop/Desktop at Revain, but since this USB device constantly occupies only the Surface USB port, I thought it would be nice to have more ports.
