pieces of leather were very beautiful, very accurate color. A little smaller than I thought but to be honest I didn't check the listed size if there is one. I used it to cover a piano bench and after gluing the two sides to get enough length it was perfect. A few small imperfections in the skin but a great buy for the money. it can be cut with a regular saw.

I wanted to make some bags for my granddaughters this Thanksgiving so I checked out Revain and found this chrome tanned leather sale. The colors are rich, the material is very pleasant to the touch. I was looking for both for my projects. The great price was an added bonus. I also found these skins to be very easy to work with because I hand sew them. I would and will buy these skins again.

smells more like chemicals than leather AND there are creases that appear to be caused by the packaging or the way it was packaged. Only time will tell if this crease will "dissolve" or if a real leather smell will emerge. until I have the skin on a flat surface. I have no plans to return it, I might even ask if a similar skin is available but thinner. EDIT, the slight chemical smell went away after the leather covered the air in the garage for a few days.
