A-1 Black Lightweight Cowhide Upholstery Leather Piece - 12 x 24 inches (2 SF) Review

My item arrived with a coin sized hole right in the middle rendering it unusable. The description clearly says "no holes", otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. Very disappointed, now I have to request a refund but the piece of leather I need is still missing.

This item was good value and was delivered quickly. However, it was not what was pictured or described. I was looking for smooth black cowhide leather to finish the jacket. This product turned out to be a granular pebble finish. Neither in the description nor in the presented photos of this rough surface was not. I returned it for a refund.

Perfect size, thickness, color and finish for repairing my relatively poor quality leather chair. (The bonded leather quickly tore and came loose on the headrest. I'd be wary of buying anything from Mohr.) A little barge cement, a quick cut, and I was able to cover the torn areas with real, comfortable upholstery leather. - and I didn't have to buy a skin.

It was top quality, unfortunately ordered two plates in one order, one came with a defect and the other was a completely different product, no idea what the problem was, both had the same part number, different pattern and one item glittering! Items are being returned and sent to a different supplier, I don't know how Dangerous Threads think they can get away with this. Also just a note: the item was delivered too LATE defective and wrong!

The leather is supple, has a great leather smell and was cut exactly as promised. The reason I bought it is because I have this expensive lazy boy style chair which is mostly black leather but has a design flaw. The armrests of the chair have stitching, two on each armrest, and the stitching is exactly where you would put your hands. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the leather. The piece I received was very soft and clean, an inch longer and an inch wider than advertised. It was perfect for what I intended to do with it. And the delivery was pretty quick considering I live in Hawaii and it was supposed to arrive just in time for the storm on Isella.
