Excellent Quality Leather, light weight (2 to 3 ounce), average 1/16 thick. Approximately 6 Square Feet Mixed Colors Fine Cowhide Pieces, soft, supple and lightweight. All pieces handsize or bigger. Random assortment: Will contain some black, the rest mostly earthtones, shades of brown, tan, grey, burgundy, other colors. We always send a nice selection, plus extra- see picture for good idea of typical color assortment. Average lot contains 10 or 15 pieces depending on size. Perfect for any upholstery application, cases and small bags, book covers, leather garment trims, fringes, chokers, bookmarks, handle wraps, doll clothing- and a thousand other uses.

good quality, soft and elastic

Bought to make candy cones to carry in the saddle as a reward for dressage horses. Flexible enough to sew on my regular sewing machine.

High quality leather details

Slightly heavier than I wanted for this project. But the quality and colors are amazing. The portions are larger than expected, so that's a real plus.

Incredibly good for scrap

I'm going to make a wallet/ card holder. I'm not a leatherworker so I just got this because I didn't want to waste good leather on my terrible skills. I was expecting to have to dig through a bag of yarn and tiny triangular pieces and settle for a color I don't really need, but I can use all of those pieces!

21 small parts do not match the description or picture.

Got 21 small useless parts. The description says 10 to 15 pieces. The image shows a ruler with figures at least a foot tall. Both the picture and the description are wrong. Gave 2 stars as it is genuine leather and beautiful in case someone might find it useful when they need items that are only about 4 or 5 inches tall.

The size of the incisions obtained is very different from what is expected

The overall quality of the leather is comfortable and soft. but the size of the scraps is really small. Some were just over 8 inches by 6 inches, but most were much smaller. I was hoping to get a few big enough for multiple magazine/notebook covers, but I'll have to find another listing. They're barely enough for a pocket knife case. I'm not going back because I can use them to test out my laser cutter and maybe some other projects I haven't thought of yet.
