I returned mine and received a 7" weld. That's quality advice, but it's a monster. I was going to weld mine anyway but didn't weld the yoke to the top.

I had to cut slots in the exhaust pipe to allow the top to slide over it. It is not beveled as expected. So make sure you have a saw or grinder handy. After that everything went smooth and held tight. Sounds deep.

The inner bracket has a large amount of sweat slag that makes it impossible to slip. I had to grind out slag and excess metal so it would slide over the existing exhaust. The finish is nice and polishes well.

Well I just want to say you get what you paid for. First of all it doesn't keep a high gloss finish for long and it won't stain it because it kinda stains the tip and when you clean it you'll still see streaks of dirt cooked up there. 2005 permanent max

nice view. The complaint I have is the attachment of the product. The weld on the inside had to be ground down just to get it onto the exhaust pipe. Even then the tip didn't match the rest of the pipe and my truck is brand new and doesn't have a battered exhaust system. I gave up and ordered another tip from a different seller. Quality control requires little work. On the other hand, the finish on the outside is nice.

I purchased this item for my 2008 F250 where I installed a 4" exhaust from downpipe to exit. There's no more DFP or Cat in my truck so this thing is giving it that awesome growl I've been looking for. The only thing I will say about this is that you must either weld it on or use an exhaust U-clip to hold it. The first one I had fell off with the clip on top about a week after installing it. It has a great finish and you will not be disappointed if you order this item.
