After 3 years of use.

After 3 years of use, the brush and handle broke in half. When I went to comb them there was hair product on my hair. The red rubber band hides the thickness of the plastic (slightly smaller than the handle). When you buy it; Try prying the rubber grip and you'll see what I mean.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Know how to use it before you buy it!

Definitely for short hair! If you're buying this for long hair and heavy use, this isn't for you. This brush is designed for styling short hair like man cut or pixie style even fine hair. It's easy to hold and easy to use. Really grabs your hair. Many reviews say it gets stuck in your hair, although this may be true (it happened to me) you must first understand how to use it, if your hair gets stuck, just roll it out and gently pull out of here. I've had success with it and would buy it again!

Comfortable to hold, just what I needed

When I first received this comb I immediately decided to try it on my dry hair. He almost got stuck and got caught in it. So I showered, dried my hair and tried combing my hair again. No problem. The comb's bristles are soft, blend in well with my layers. I can lift my hair to give it some volume.

Designed for short, thick, split ends

Here's the thing - a lot of the negative reviews are from people with long or thin hair. This type of brush isn't really designed for that - it's meant for thicker, shorter hair that will be blow-dried. The same subtle properties that make it cling to long hair make it effective at "lifting" thick hair so it can be blow-dried. I'll admit this brush had big red dots on the end which made it more comfortable, but for $12 you can't expect this thing to do the heavy lifting.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Painful for scalp and wallet

What a terrible brush. Stable plastic handle. Not nice to hold. And if you have thin short hair, this is not for you. This brush is designed for thick hair. Fragility is common in people without follicles. And the brittle feeling is very hard on the scalp. Not a good buy

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Stuck in my hair multiple times

Because the brush is so thin, my hair got so tangled that it got stuck in my hair for several minutes when I tried to untangle it all. You have to be a bit careful when using it, but because it's so thin I think it might not be the best product for hair over 5 inches.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Trade-in

Very great hair care

This does exactly what it says gives you a huge front lift. It styles your hair with such precision that you get what you really want. The downside is that it can drag a little if you're not careful. I think it's more for the user. I have a large 90's brush that I used a lot before I bought this one, but it's smoother. All in all a great tool for styling hair, I recommend it to everyone.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
