🔧 URO Parts 274523 Front Ball Joint - Regular Review

Not suitable for 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2. The cylinder insert is too long so it doesn't quite reach, leaving about 3-4mm between the mounting plate and the hub. I had to order the original part. Don't waste time 2 times for installation.

Perfect fit for my '04 Volvo XC90. Quality part, easy assembly (after removing the old ball joint) Be sure to check the tie rod ends and the swinging of the end links while sitting on them. If your ball joints are shot through, those parts are probably worn out as well.

Sorry for the expression I ordered two numbers but only received one, what should I do? Total package weight 2.6lbs (URO 274523 front ball joint weighs 1,190lbs and outer package weighs 0.89lbs) Only one item received, who do I contact, please calculate the package weight, you can find the missing item9

This is the exact same part. No close, comparable or generic OEM. This is exactly the same part from the same manufacturer. The only difference is that Volvo charges around $200 for this part alone. This $15 part goes up to $200 at the dealer. If only my dad would help me replace this ball joint in my wife's xc90. Relatively easy access to the passenger hinge.

Good enuf. When removing the old one, which will corrode in place, I found that removing the brakes/rotors down to the steering knuckle was necessary to access the front of the plate for thorough hammering and metal hammering. Once it loosens a bit, insert a screwdriver between the knuckle and the ball joint mounting plate to remove it. Plenty of PB blasters is good too. Use some anti-seize on the new one.
