The rubber is so hard it's impossible to get hold of

I've tried installing this gasket to no avail. The material is so hard and inflexible that it could not be forced in. I used soap to lubricate it. Not sure if it's poor quality or petrified from sitting on the shelf.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not the best

Appears like a part for switches and relays

Appears like a part but very rigid and difficult to install. This aftermarket product didn't have the flexibility to put it in a hole. In the end I turned to BMW and got an OEM that was easy to install. I wouldn't waste your time with that.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect solution to that pesky leak in my e30 trunk

My favorite convertible's wheel arch turned into a pool in heavy rain. It didn't hurt, but I was tired of taking the water out. Tried all sorts of "fixes". I didn't even think there was a part. Mine disappeared so I didn't know. Many Thanks . Thank you thank you

Excellent Replacement: Parts

Used on two Z3s; 2001 and 2002. They work very well but a touch of installation. Pull the antenna out from under the trunk lining so that the hole in the fender is clear. Lubricate the seal, then start on one side of it. Once started, it can be rotated to allow the seal to be fully seated in the groove. Fix in 5 minutes. Good business.

Perfect replacement at a great price

Fits my 2000 BMW Z3 perfectly. The original has been dried and cracked by UV rays. Be sure to use a small amount of dish soap to allow it to soak into the hole after removing the old gasket. Otherwise it will be quite difficult for you to install this new gasket. But the end result is a nice, snug fit that keeps moisture out of the core area.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Operating speed
