Only buy these if you plan to spend big on batteries! I've had them installed in my kitchen for a little over a month and I've just changed the batteries for the FOURTH (and final) time! These lights don't have a sensor (which works) that tells them not to turn on when the area is already lit. I have 4 large windows in my kitchen maybe 6 feet from where they are. They turn on with every movement, regardless of the brightness. With fresh batteries they are bright but dark every day.

Bought this for a display case, one under each shelf, hoping the motion sensor would work when I approached the display case. It didn't happen with the glass doors closed or open. To activate, I had to wave my hand back and forth a few inches under the light. Bought new batteries for all three flashlights. One stopped working after 2 days. The other 2 don't do me much good. They work as promised and are very easy to use. Please warn new buyers that once you've placed them in the 'perfect spot' you will have trouble removing them if you decide it's not the best spot - great tape is chopsticks - both chopsticks and also chopsticks. I've been using motion sensor lights in my closet for a few years now but the type I have is no longer for sale. When I needed another light, I jumped out. This works exactly as advertised. I have a long hallway to the bathroom where there is overhead lighting. Great. The motion sensor works so well. The moment you open the door to a closet-like space with no light or outlet to plug in a lamp, this thing instantly turns on in a split second.
