In fact, we don't even have to use the clamp function, so he just dangles at his feet. I don't risk it happening again. I would return them if I could, bought them a few months ago.

This product works exactly as advertised and perfectly solves the problem of what to do with our pup in the car. It's very easy to use. It simply plugs into a standard seat belt exit (or child seat loop) and the other end threads into your dog's harness (NOT the collar). My pup immediately calmed down and was much better behaved in the car as he felt protected and restricted.

I was happy to find an option that offered both a seat belt and a handlebar clip. However, after using the product, I highly recommend finding out which option works best for your needs and sticking with it. Problem. When used with the strap version, the clip remains available for the dog to step on and attach the paw to.
