It seems to work. in digital thermometers

if you really need a quad temp sensor and can only save $10 to make it work. It won't be accurate as it doesn't have proper cold junction compensation. You must wait for the device temperature to stabilize to the ambient temperature before using it. Ambient temperature changes will reset them by a few degrees. The min/max function doesn't work either, some numbers seem to be displayed in Kelvin instead of Fahrenheit, works correctly in Celsius. Average doesn't work either. Sensors are cheap…

Pros
  • OTHER USEFUL FUNCTIONS - In addition to the Max/Min/Average function, this meter also has a data hold function, temperature units °C, °F, K, switchable, large, clear display with backlight and automatic switch-off functions
Cons

Poor performance of thermometers

Bought this meter with high expectations. 4 Type K thermocouples are used, observing correct polarity. All four began showing approximate temperatures, but the readings kept changing and random readings were visible. Not stable at all. At room temperature, the 72F readings change +/- 5-10 degrees, even reading -4.7, -2.5F. The readings varied on ALL four thermocouples, so this was a good thermocouple. I am extremely disappointed. The "manual" consisted of four tiny index card-sized pages. No…
