I was a bit disappointed with the product

Item arrived quickly. I was a bit disappointed with the product. I read reviews and it said it would hold gel pens and it was very difficult to get hold of the pens and slots and there aren't as many as advertised. If you buy this for pencils I'm sure it will work just fine.

The collapsible roll up is a bit misleading.

This case is very sturdy but has a cap for the nibs and the slots hold the pens well. However, I really wanted a real roll-up, which is not the case when it is full. It roughly folds in thirds, resulting in a bulky square that doesn't mix well with my other rolls that I fold. I noticed that the rolled up images leave an empty slot between each pencil, so maybe you can roll it up if you're willing to give up half the volume you bought. Although the price is good. Excellent quality and very functional with do-it-yourself renovation.

OK, the brown thing is plastic, but it's pretty soft. The strap that holds the folded case together when all the slots are full is 2-3 inches shorter to allow for snapping. My advice is to cut it off right away and make it longer if possible. Go to a large fabric store, buy a strong elastic, tie it together and use it as an elastic to wrap around a few times. or buy a 1" wide elastic, sew on a loop and wrap it.
