dubious strength.

Installed on 2x4 they sag a bit and now have a slight flex when the bikes are removed. Not as strong as others I've bought in the past. They've been up for a month and they're still not broken, so they're working.

Great for mountain bikes and high profile carbon wheels

Replaced some of the more common smaller hooks with these after having to constantly lean my 29er MTB and road bike with high profile carbon rims to get them into the hooks . They are good quality and now I can hang the bikes straight with no problems. The threads were slightly larger than the ones they replaced, so it was pretty easy to thread them through the same hole and still hold on. Over time I will be replacing the remaining 3 sets of hooks with these!

The rubber is of very poor quality.

I bought these hooks to hang my road bikes, both have carbon wheels and weigh 7kg (15.5lbs) each. Hanging my carbon bikes on this for just a week and daily use has caused the rubber to come loose exposing underlying steel which is not ideal for sitting on carbon. If the rubber were improved they would work great but they become unusable with the thin rubber coating currently in use. I advise against buying them, especially if you want to protect your expensive wheels.
