Durable Adapter - Accessory

Compared to other types of USB-C adapters, these are better. The Man 2.0 has a tighter fit. The C end is strong and the cable connector remains stable. Another style bent and broke the C end. I have ordered several adapters of this type and recommend them.

Set your expectations Any other expected use is a waste of time and money

Beware, USB-C leads to many expectations that are not really true. This is a replacement for a powerful source, but not a replacement for a video input. I think the best use you will get is a USB-c phone cable that converts to USB 2. Any other intended use is a waste of your time and money.

Not compatible with 2018 Ford F-150 with Apple MagSafe 2.0 charger

Need a way to charge the iPhone 12 Pro Max in my 18 F-150 as Apple has decided to phase out its MagSafe 2.0 chargers USB-C to switch devices. I understand this is for faster charging, but most cars older than 2019 DO NOT have USB-C ports. This Type-A to Type-C adapter does not work in my F-150 or through an Apple power adapter box plugged into a standard wall outlet. USB 2.0 speed in cables and adapters

Do not buy. Build quality is great, but internals are much worse. Testing with an external USB 3.1 Gen2 SSD with USB-A and USB-C cables. Without the adapter, when I plug the SSD directly into my Macbook Pro and use the BlackMagicDesign Drive Speed Test, I get 750MB/s write speed. This is the basic level.
