Description of USB hub Satechi Dual Multimedia Adapter (ST-TCDMMA), connectors: 3, silver

Satechi USB Type-C Dual Multimedia Adapter for Macbook with two USB-C ports ST-TCDMMAS (silver) is a stylish and compact accessory that will greatly expand your capabilities and will not take up much space in your laptop bag. It connects to the MacBook via a dual USB Type-C port. The splitter has two classic USB 3.0 outputs and one Type-C. And also an HDMI interface that supports 4K resolution at a refresh rate of 60 Hz and 30 Hz. For memory cards, there are slots for SD and microSD. And for peripherals and wired Internet, use the Ethernet interface. The well-thought-out location of the connectors helps to make the most of the splitter''s capabilities, and devices connected at the same time will not interfere or block access to each other. The aluminum body is strong and durable, there are non-slip inserts on the bottom.

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

According to the description, this adapter is possibly one of the greatest ones yet. I likewise fell prey to this description. Used the adapter with a brand-new MacBook Pro 16, 2022, for a little over a year. Due to the fact that I use a laptop for work, I used it nonstop, or daily for at least 8 hours. Yes, it does out its duties, but obviously not well. 1. An HDMI connection to a 2K monitor with a refresh rate of 30Hz was made. The display on the monitor abruptly vanished for 4–8 seconds…

Pros
  • a small body, a lot of connectors, and a metal construction
Cons
  • Unreasonably high cost, weak aluminum case, erratic operation, and intense heat
