This is not the card reader I need, but I only understood it when I received the goods and took a closer look. Make absolutely sure you need that particular card reader because there is no going back, just like there is no going back. Probably in the trash!

I like that it works because I had this camera with a memory card that needed an adapter. I bought an Olympus cable to transfer photos from my camera to my computer but it didn't work. With this card reader I can transfer all my photos taken with this camera to my computer. Hooray!

This drive arrived quickly, works perfectly and does exactly what I need at a very reasonable price. I have previously ordered two other drives, one was the wrong type and the other was broken and could not read my camera card. I have some old XD memory cards from a Fujifilm digital camera that I owned about 10 years ago. I just wanted to see what's on them. The problem is that I'm out of camera and XD card slots. Ordered and problem solved. Cards are inserted into the slot on the side of the USB reader. It showed up as a drive letter, opened the DCIM folder and found some great vacation photos with my kids. This is great. I just bought a new laptop and it needs an S card, so an X card from my digital camera (Olympus D-390) won't work. The cable from the camera didn't work either. But it works - super fast and super easy. Just plug into a USB port and insert an X-Card and photos will start uploading in seconds. Note. This indicates that it works with USB 1.0 and USB 2.0.
