Not suitable for standard car cigarette lighter sockets. Description is wrong. You will not receive a full refund, buyers beware.

Created an Amazon car selection for my profile. I was looking for flush mount USB chargers for my car. This one showed up. I spent about an hour removing the center console and trying to replace the cigarette lighter socket for this USB charger. To my dismay, the charger does not fit the standard cigarette lighter hole. To make sure I didn't go crazy I tried another hole (my car has 2 next to each other) and it was still too big. Another USB extender for my main device that I bought is perfect.

Great option for unlit QC3.0 port but get your own wiring

I ordered several QC3.0 USB ports and this one won because it was unlit. Seems to be working fine. I used it in the back seat of my Mini as I didn't order the Mini's storage option which includes USB power in the back seat. It's plastic, not aluminum like some others, but I'm not sure if that's really a factor because if it melts it's dead anyway and shouldn't be exposed and abused anyway. Making my classic 1998 Ford Crown Victoria look like a 2021 Toyota!

Buying a flimsy, quickly failing USB cigarette lighter charger is temporary. They get hot and make you spend $5 every time to get a new one and not worth it!
