Awesome Whistle! Noisy! Used for security, travel etc. The best part is that no parts can break, the bright color makes it easy to find.

I use them as part of my surface dive alarm kit so of course they had to be tested before use. These are the loudest (regular) whistles I have ever heard in my life. I'm not kidding, maybe I got hearing damage just from testing. They came right out of the box and I'll probably cover my ears before using them again.

Sometimes I go kayaking on the lakes nearby. I bought this whistle as a safety measure to attract attention if I ever need help on the lake. This is a lightweight plastic whistle. The cord makes it easy to attach to my life jacket so I can reach it in case of danger. It's loud and should easily draw attention. I recommend this for safety reasons if you play in lakes like me.

I only bought it for security reasons. When I received this I blew in very hard and the whistle wasn't as powerful as I expected or as the reviews said. I played around with it a bit and then I realized there are these little grooves in the mouthpiece that you bite into and the whistle has to point down and then when you blow it it gets really loud. So make sure it's positioned correctly!

For a few bucks these whistles are a little safety gear to add to your life jacket so you can get someone's attention on the water. if you need. Getting him to yell the way you want is a bit weird, but practice with him a few times and you'll learn. I hope I never have to use them to rescue, but it's a bit reassuring to know they're there.

Bought these for a disaster survival kit and love the fact that they are waterproof. Just bite and blow. The whistle will point down a bit, but this is how it works. Loud as hell. They are made out of a type of ABS plastic. Really sturdy and the thickness and connections look like they will last. The included lanyard is good for emergencies, but you'll need a slightly thicker cord if you use it regularly. A great way to announce your location if needed.

Maximum safety item - low profile, fits comfortably (well, reasonably) under clothing.
