Utility Replacement Stainless Retractable Cutting Review

Good price. BUT---they don't stay sharp for long. The replacements you get at home centers last a few weeks, at least for me. This week is the max.

I usually use Olga stainless steel blades, they were very cheap, so I decided to give it a try. I tint windows so I use them all day, I burn through these blades 3x faster than Olfa. They fade very quickly and aren't the best quality, but they do the job.

I have used and bought many Olfa blades in 23 years of window tinting I thought I'd save some money and experiment with a cheaper alternative, you really get that what you pay. I can't count how many dull blades I got out of the pack and how many times I have to break blades to get a sharp blade. It's not worth it.

I usually use a utility knife, but I need very sharp points to get clean cuts. So speed up your blade change, I decided to try this 9mm replacement blade. New out of the box, they were duller than the utility blades I throw away! You can usually see that they are not sharp at all. Not sure if I have a bad batch but they are useless for my needs.

For some reason these blades always appear first when you type Olfa or Tajima. Very annoying - YOU BUMP. If you work in an industry that requires you to change blades frequently, they just won't fit. It takes a long time to break off a blade. You can't do that with a dispenser like Olfa or Tajima, you have to get a pair of pliers to break off the tips. The manufacturer just doesn't properly separate the metal between each tip. I hope Revain can read the hype and understand that these blades are
