Workmanship, despite the price and everything else - Chinese game. The instructions state that when the lid is opened, the radiation should be turned off, but in reality this does not happen, and I did not find any opening sensor inside. Looking at UV-C radiation is not very useful, if anything. You can turn off the device with the button before opening, but it is easy to accidentally press the button when opening the lid.
The case is completely black, and the lamps shine only from the slots on the sides from below. A reasonable question arises - how does the radiation get on the screen and the back panel of the phone? The answer is most likely not, which was confirmed by a highly scientific test using paper colored with a highlighter that glows in UV radiation. In the first photo, the piece of paper just lies in the device, in the second - the phone is in the device, and there is a piece of paper on it. The bottom side of the phone actually lies close to the bottom, so it is also not illuminated, and only the sides remain.
The duration of exposure is 10 minutes, after which it automatically turns off. Maybe in theory this is enough, but then it’s not clear why they built in wireless charging and a USB port inside (by the way, why it’s not clear, with the cable connected, the phone can hardly fit there), and in general, I would like to just leave things there for as long as possible , within reasonable limits.
The wireless charging itself is located in the middle and does not work if you place the phone at the top and the headphones at the bottom, as shown in the product photo.
