This style is very quick and easy but I think it lacks the insulation that actually helps keep the car cool. I had low expectations, but I didn't even notice a small difference in the temperature of the seats, dashboard or air. Appears to be collapsible, better insulated, just what you need.

I liked it and it worked very well until the release and hold button broke less than a month after receiving it. Very disappointed because it was easy to use and fold when taken off. It's not like I shot it all day or even every day. In general, I probably didn't take it off a dozen times before the trigger broke.

If you can open an umbrella, you can use this one. Yes, it can be a little awkward to open an umbrella in the car at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use and easy to store. I have one for my car and bought it for a new car. The temperature is noticeably cooler, which provides extra security from people seeing what's in your car. I will buy again and maybe give as gifts.

My first review was: Easy to use, both open and close. Fits perfectly in the windshield. Updated review as follows: I went to my car after not using it for a few days and removed the shade. When I got home I tried to put the blind back on the windshield and the blind rod was broken. This is the second shade I've bought and the same thing happened to both. I do not recommend.

I have a 2015 Prius and the dashboard is flat in the front but then has humps for the digital screen and then flattens to the edge of the window. Positioning this umbrella shield is tricky and a headache even with practice! Just enough to close the window. Folding and removing the shield is quite easy. A few extension poles have already punctured the nylon material. If you have a Prius I wouldn't recommend it.

That's what I expected from the F150, not big enough to reach the sides but helps keep the temp down. However, over time, the dashboard will discolor where sunlight hits the two sides. But I'll use it anyway because I couldn't find a big enough umbrella for the F150. One of the threads snapped out of the fabric so I had to cut it off.
