Shows the temperature but not the.

This thermocouple has moderate accuracy and slow response. Considering the price and the water repellent finish I'd say it's a decent value.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged

Good waterproof and salt resistant PT-100 probe.

Has been working in my saltwater marsh for a few years now. This sensor is connected to my PID controller that controls the cooler I built for the tank.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Poor quality

I had a death for 6 months and one died. So 33% of them seem to be working fine, it really annoys them having to replace them so often, I have no idea what's broken about them but my PID just says ERR, they don't even move, they just sit in Water and temperature control, no kinks, no breaks. I don't know why they don't last long. They are accurate when they work. Update: August 2014, none work anymore, all have failed. I don't buy them anymore.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
