good quality and price

I took one of these apart to fix a motorcycle high beam headlight that had a bad connection. Works like it should again. If I never use the rest I'm still happy. It would be 5 but the ground wire is wrapped around the spring and not soldered or riveted.

Pros
  • Cable length: 8 cm / 3 inch; Net Weight: 80g
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

They work fine. The quality is not very good

These are cheap 2 wire sockets, they work well. It looks like the ground wire is just wrapped around the spring and not soldered, which worries me a bit, but they do what they're supposed to do. You can always connect a little differently if you don't trust them as they come.

Pros
  • Socket type: 1156
Cons
  • Long delivery time

When no technical input is required.

Bayonet lamp holder works; like other reviewers, one wire is simply wrapped multiple times around the spring for contact, the other soldered to the mullion; The background or epoxy coated slider can be flipped to remove, allowing you to solder at least one loose wire to the spring. I realized my mistake; How to fix these sockets? There is no ledge, right angle leg or flange so how are the bushings held in place? Epoxy or Welding or Soldering in Place?

Pros
  • Package content: 10 x 1156 lamp holder
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine
