I used this connector to fix a small 12v air compressor that my son threw in the trash when his connector broke. The plug did exactly what it was supposed to do. The compressor is now in operation again.

We bought this to repair a car dvd player. We took it to family members we were vacationing with and fixed it in no time. We've been using it for about six months with no problems. When we returned home, I made it more durable with the help of a soldier and a case. I would definitely buy this again. Good product.

Looks good and works as advertised. I used it to connect to a car FM transmitter. The FM transmitter came with only red and black wires for connection to power and ground. I cut the loops off the ends of the wires on this thing and connected the wires. Now I can plug my FM transmitter into my cigarette lighter.

As another said in 2014 the grommets are really small and the wires are barely 30cm long I wouldn't buy any other. Plus the seller, the goods were sent very quickly, there are no complaints, only goods. By the way, the lugs are very small to give the impression that they fit snugly into the tip of the aux plug.

It's ok for the price but I don't think it will last more than 6 months. The top part of the connector always comes loose when I pull the connector out of the port. Also, it's really only a matter of time before the top cap breaks due to the constant pressure exerted by the metal tabs on the side. Next time I won't skimp and buy one of the more expensive spares.

The product corresponds to that declared. I bought it to use with my 400/800w peak inverter. The inverter was only supplied with battery clamps as a 12V socket cannot deliver more than 120W of power. I wanted to be able to use the inverter in my truck for light tasks (laptop charging, portable TV) and also directly from the battery for heavier tasks. With this product I can easily use it on one of the 12V sockets.

I think you can think of many applications where this would work. I have a portable air compressor that uses a 12v battery. The charger that came with the compressor runs on AC power and doesn't have an indicator light to tell you when the device is fully charged, so charging the battery can shorten its lifespan. The compressor has a 12v socket and this plug allows me to use this socket to connect to a battery tender and keep the unit fully charged without worrying about overcharging.
