Good Replacement - Sensors

Replaced a cracked knock sensor on a Subaru Legacy 98 and turned off the Check Engine light. Has worked fine for the past few weeks.

A year and a half and still no problems

Bought a year and a half ago. I'm still sticking with my Legacy Outback 99 2.5. OE was over $110 when mine failed. This one got the job done. No questions. I will definitely buy more for the cars I fix.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Exchange option

Best deal this side of the Rockies :0)

What an amazing alternative to the insanely expensive dealer item. Worked great to clear my P0325 check engine code. Wiring harness and connector fits my 1999 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon 2.5L perfectly. Thank you Rewin!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • So far so good

Don't waste your money on theft

An excellent non-OEM part that performs like an OEM. plug and play; no change required. Its installation led to the disappearance of the error code and a significant improvement in engine performance. The price was several times cheaper than at the dealer and the delivery was fast.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Fits

Worked like a charm but be careful installing

My knocking problem has been solved but be careful how you set this up. It's not the position of the sensor, it's the contact areas. Clean the area that holds the sensor to make it shine and clean the screw that holds it. After I did that, it worked wonderfully.

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • Modern

1998 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport 2.2

I have the check engine light for the knock sensor on I took it off and plugged this in, the light went out and my car runs fine! bang for the buck. It might shake your car at lower revs, but it didn't cost you an arm and a leg! Subaru OEMs are your best bet, but if you're in a bind this will get the job done!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened
