Not long enough to reach my 36 gallon nose without getting my hands wet and as another reviewer also pointed out, WEAK to hold on to! The tip could also be thinner to make it easier to plant very small plants like Baby Tears (HC) or to grab things in hard-to-reach places or small crevices.

They may be longer than I need for most of my herpes but I have a chameleon panther that is more comfortable to eat at range and a ball python they are perfect for. They don't hold food incredibly tightly, allowing it to be easily removed after being hit, bitten, etc., but they are still pliable enough to hold a thawed rat in place. I love it!

RUSTY. I got this stainless steel tool to move objects around in a saltwater aquarium. After 6 months of use rust was visible, who knows what came off the tool and got into the water during my use. I threw it away. It may be suitable for your needs, but I would not take it for use in a saltwater aquarium.

they are quite big i think i wasn't expecting something that big and durable but they are great i use them to pick snail shells out of my tank i have black gravel and i can't stand and look at the snail shells sitting there. My bottom eaters always suck out the snail and leave an ugly shell! I use hand lotion, so I don't like sticking my hands in the tank unless I have to. I do not have to. I have 30 gallons so they are pretty long

They serve their purpose but if you end up needing more pressure you have to keep putting your hand on them and thus your hand will be in the water and defeating the purpose me, them to buy. I've only been using them for a couple of weeks and try to wipe them down after each use and they already have rust spots on them. They were still reasonably useful, although at least I don't have to stick my whole hand in the tank anymore.
